Expressive
This probably best describes my painting style—whether watercolor or mixed media. Layering, washing out areas, and highlighting textures. The highlight of the painting is a densification of details and contrasts through the play of light. The feeling of depth ... sometimes a long process to achieve the desired result.
Unusual motifs that have never been painted before and perspectives that perhaps no one has ever seen before.
Photography
I search for the subject in its reality. I look for my best perspective, choose the image composition, and wait for the right light. I set the parameters for the shot.
Shot.
Check everything. Maybe another alternative?
During the development process, I play with colors, moods, and accents. The result: my interpretation of the subject's reality.

Painting and photography:
A Dialogue
Who influences whom? In the selection of motif, the composition of the image, the combination of colors, the choice of perspective ... a truly exciting, interesting, and never-ending process that happens between the painter (Stephanie) and the photographer (Thomas).
Join us on our journey – it’s definitely worth it!
Watercolors, photos and prints
Stephanie's watercolors and mixed media works are wonderfully unique and meant to enchant. Therefore, only a few are available as fine art prints, and even then, only in very limited editions. Thomas's photographs are also unique— which is why his signed photographs are strictly limited to 50 copies, some even to just 20. All fine art prints are produced using the highest quality photo paper, come with a certificate of authenticity, and are registered in the MyArtRegistry.com database.
We also offer all FineArt prints ready-framed, with high-quality passepartouts, preferably with quality frames from Halbe-Rahmen.

The Suedereiche studio
We're delighted to welcome you to our studio. It's our workshop, but also our home. Seeing our works in our surroundings and getting to know them better is certainly—hopefully—an unusual experience. Perhaps even a glimpse over the painter's shoulder or a chance to watch the photographer edit his images...
An email, a phone call – that’s all it takes.
