Trees are a favorite subject. Since childhood, I've felt a deep connection to them. To the silver birch next to the fishpond, the weeping willow by the river, and the oak tree that I once brought home from the forest as a seedling and that has since grown into a mighty tree in the garden. There's not a single trip or walk where a tree doesn't touch my soul.
