Finalist Nexus International Photography Awards 2025 - Landscape Photography

In September 2023, a group of international photographers, male and female, embarked on a 10-day hut-to-hut tour through the South Tyrolean Dolomites. This meant we were up on one mountain early in the morning and on to the next by the evening. We ate and spent the night in high-altitude, serviced huts, some with two-bed rooms, others with 12 beds. Some had showers, others with cold water. This not only resulted in a wonderful group rapport among the participants from North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia, but also in some very, very good photographs.
