About this work

This is a "one-shot" photograph, not a montage. I get asked this all the time. It requires a certain amount of "footwork" to find the right position from which to juxtapose old and new architecture in this way.

I can say with some pride today that this work hangs 3 times in Basel and 1 time in Brussels, but also in Hamburg and other places.
