Synagoge Mainz I
Limited Edition Fine Art Print
About this work
The synagogue, actually "New Synagogue"The "nagoge" in Mainz was designed by Düsseldorf architect Manuel Herz and inaugurated in 2010. The modern architecture is represented by five letters, which in turn symbolize the five areas of the Jewish center: community events, adult education, and a Hebrew school for school-age children.
Located in the middle of Mainz's Neustadt district and surrounded by large trees and large residential buildings, it's a great subject, but very difficult to photograph.
