Group exhibition in Kappeln

Kappeln, December 7, 2023

The Kunsthaus Kappeln has invited its members and friends to a joint exhibition—a truly remarkable exhibition! We are presenting four works, including the brand new dialogue pair "Kähne Maasholm" and the equally new watercolor "Toosbüystraße Flensburg."

The exhibition runs until March 3, 2024.

The SHZ reported on this on December 6, 2023 and was kind enough to feature our works.

Mini-series "Cap San Diego"

Schwackendorf, January 2023

She's as much a part of Hamburg's harborscape as the Elbphilharmonie, the lightship, or the Speicherstadt warehouse district: the Cap San Diego. Built in 1961/62 as a fast general cargo ship, she now serves as a museum ship and hotel, but still regularly sails with up to 500 passengers. More information about the ship can be found atwww.capsandiego.de

In a mini-series, I painted the elegant ship in watercolor; twice in the harbor and once on the high seas, based on a photo by the fantastic photographer Julia Berlin (Copyright: Berlin&Cramer), who, incidentally, was once part of the Cap San Diego crew.
